Biography

Jean Prast MSNed, RN, CHSE is the Simulation Lab Manager at Westfield State University. Jean’s clinical expertise is in the care of adults in acute care. She is creative and passionate about using simulation to improve clinical care competence of nursing students. As an educator and clinician she embraces conducting research on simulation pedagogy and consistently uses current evidence in the simulation arena. Jean is a member of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH), the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL) and is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE).
